Ljubljana, Slovenia – For An Eco-Friendly Romantic Getaway

The capital of Slovenia may not have a romantic reputation like its neighbors, Vienna and Venice, but it is becoming a serious rival. A day spent walking through the cobbled streets will reveal the true charm of Ljubljana: traditional buildings, banks of the river that divides the city into two parts, while a beautiful medieval castle gives a special historical touch. Piran or “Venice of the East”, as it is still popularly called. This city offers a unique blend of Italian and Slovenian culture.
